MILL HALL β Calico Creek Feed & Pet, a longtime Clinton County pet supply destination, has officially closed its doors following the retirement and later passing of owner Nancy Renninger.
The business, which had served the community since 2007, held a 75% off closing sale this past week, with Saturday, March 28, 2026, marking its final day of operation.
Calico Creek was known as a one-stop shop for pet owners, operating out of an approximately 18,000-square-foot building that offered pet supplies, grooming services, and a large selection of fish, reptiles, and other small animals.
According to information circulating locally, the adjacent Belleβs Market, owned by an Amish family, is expected to expand into the former Calico Creek space. As part of that transition, grooming services will no longer be available at the location. However, veterinary services are expected to remain, with a separate entrance for access.
While the closure marks the end of a nearly two-decade staple in the community, new options have recently emerged in Lock Haven. Tails and Trails Pet Store, located at 120 E. Walnut Street, and Jackie G Pet Grooming, located at 16 Corning Street, are now available to help meet local pet care and grooming needs.
