This past Monday, a tractor-trailer hauling hogs broke down along Interstate 80, leaving the animals stranded in extreme heat. With temperatures rising, a tanker truck was requested to the scene to help cool the hogs down. Crews used the tanker’s water supply to hose off the animals, providing much-needed relief until the situation could be resolved.
