CASTANEA TOWNSHIP, PA — Emergency personnel responded Thursday morning, May 28, 2026, to a reported collision involving a commercial truck and a train near an industrial gatehouse along First Quality Drive in Castanea Township.

The incident was dispatched at approximately 10:47 a.m. Initial reports indicated the truck may have sustained damage resulting in a possible radiator fluid leak.

Upon arrival of emergency units, the driver of the truck reportedly began experiencing chest pains. EMS personnel evaluated the individual at the scene.

Fire, EMS, and law enforcement and railroad officials' crews remained on scene to investigate the incident and manage traffic in the area. No additional injuries were immediately reported.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
