At approximately 8:39 a.m. on May 5, 2026, emergency crews were dispatched to a reported structure fire at 1497 East End Mountain Road in Lamar Township. Due to the extent of the incident, the call was later upgraded to a 2nd Alarm response, bringing additional mutual aid resources to the scene.

The fire involved a building located behind the East End Greenhouse. Despite windy conditions in the area, crews were able to prevent the fire from spreading to the greenhouse itself.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
