The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) stated that the contractor for a bridge preservation project impacting a truss bridge spanning Bald Eagle Creek near Flemington Borough plans to complete a high friction surface application on Wednesday, May 22, and Thursday, May 23. PennDOT advises drivers to build extra travel time into their schedules as it expects short delays. As the contractor cannot complete these treatments in the rain, all work is weather-dependent as these treatments cannot occur in the rain.
