A New Year began with a special arrival at Mount Nittany Medical Center, where Myles Peters was born to parents Elliot and Caleigh Peters of Snow Shoe, Pennsylvania. Myles weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces, and is the first baby born at the facility in 2026.

The birth marks a meaningful start to the year and continues a long-standing tradition of welcoming the New Year’s first arrival in Centre County.
