DUNNSTABLE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — No injuries were reported following an early-morning school bus accident in Dunnstable Township on Wednesday.

At approximately 6:23 a.m., emergency responders were dispatched to a commercial vehicle accident involving a school bus near the intersection of Weaver Hill Road and Big Plum Run Road.

Initial scanner traffic indicated the school bus had traveled into a ditch with children on board. No injuries were reported among the children, with some reportedly declining medical evaluation at the scene.

Big Plum Run Road was temporarily closed from Weaver Hill Road to Cider Press Road while emergency crews operated at the scene.

Units from Stations 6, 7, 12, 22 and 42 responded to the incident.
