LOCK HAVEN — Emergency crews were dispatched to the 700 block of East Water Street Monday night after a vehicle reportedly became stuck in a sinkhole.

According to Clinton County dispatch audio, the incident occurred around 9:13 p.m. near 740 E. Water St. in Lock Haven City. Initial reports indicated the vehicle’s passenger-side tire was fully submerged in the hole.

Station 42 responded to the scene alongside Lock Haven City Police with a tow dispatched for the vehicle.

No injuries were immediately reported. Additional information on the cause of the sinkhole or extent of roadway damage was not available as of publication time.
